Municipal Elections

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election (consolidated with the General Election) will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 for the following Officers:

  • Member of the City Council, District One (Full term of four years)
  • Member of the City Council, District Two (Full term of four years
  • Member of the City Council for District Four (Full term of four years)

The nomination period for these offices begins on Monday, July 15, 2024 and closes on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

If nomination papers for an incumbent are not filed by 5:00 p.m. on August 9, 2024, the nomination period shall be extended until Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., for persons other than the incumbent.

If no one or only one person is nominated for an elective office, appointment to the elective office may be made as prescribed by §10229, Elections Code of the State of California.  To stay updated, please visit the page frequently.
