Business Licenses

All persons or companies conducting business within the City limits of Bradbury are required to obtain a City Business License. Business types include: stables, boarders, horse trainers, wholesalers, realtors, service providers, professionals, contractors, self-employed or consultants (home businesses), and residential landlords.

How do I obtain a Business License?
There are two ways to obtain a Business License:
  1. Fill out the Business License Application and bring it to City Hall (600 Winston Avenue, Bradbury, CA 91008) to pay the fees and obtain your Business License.
  2. Fill out the application and email it to CityHall@CityofBradbury.org . Once you email the application, call City Hall (626) 358-3218 to pay the fees over the phone.
Applications are also available from the City Clerk at City Hall.

When should an application be submitted?

An application must be submitted and fees must be paid prior to commencement of any business operations.


Is non-compliance penalized?

Failure to comply with the ordinance is an infraction. Any person who fails to pay the fees prior to business commencement or 30 days after the renewal date is liable for penalties (10 percent after 30 days, an additional 15 percent after 60 days).

Where is my license valid?
Your Business License is valid only within the City limits of Bradbury - while doing business from your location, your residence, or when you are providing services to a resident or business within the City limits.
