City Notification System: Connect-CTY

The City of Bradbury has implemented the Connect-CTY service to provide City officials the ability to communicate with residents regarding time-sensitive matters, such as unforeseen events or emergencies.

With this system the City can quickly contact you by telephone, cell phone or e-mail regarding urgent and important information. For example in the event of an emergency, the City can quickly let you know what to do or where to go for services. Only authorized City officials are allowed to send messages. Other non-emergency messages can be sent by e-mail regarding upcoming meetings, events or workshops. Please take a minute to update your information by clicking our secure link to the right.

Preserving Bradbury’s Uniqueness

Like all local governments, Bradbury faces numerous fiscal challenges. Why? It stems from a lack of leadership in Sacramento, State takeaways of local dollars and eroding local control to wielding State and Federal mandates that push the responsibility away from them and onto local cities, like Bradbury.

The City Council needs your help and input to meet these challenges and avoid the mistakes by others, or worse, becoming an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County. The City Council and Planning Commission have held several community meetings to discuss these issues and how we as a community can work together to “Preserve Bradbury’s Uniqueness and Independence.” These meetings have been helpful, but just scratched the surface, and the conversation continues.

Join the discussion. You have several ways to participate and share your ideas and concerns.

Speak during the next City Council meeting on May 15, 2012!
